Find out the inspiration behind the looks I created for Fall for Fashion 09.
There’s only one accessory this season – hard make-up. The catwalk at FFF was full of black eye make-up teamed with dark vamp lips (especially on Tuesday).

Fashion has gone back to the grunge era of the 1990’s and has given us a new edge – make-up with attitude, an effortless look that is carefree.
Progressive rock has been reborn and the iconic looks of women in rock and punk have been given a new platform.

The make-up for FFF embraced the rock and roll legacy and saluted the women who broke the boundaries in fashion; solid black eyes, heavy lashes and lips that say ‘don’t even think about it’.!!
Make-up this autumn should look slept in, individual and is all about mixing it up. Female rock icons like Debbie Harry/Chrissie Hynde/Courtney Love have provided the inspiration for this seasons look.

However, make-up for Fall has a new explosive energy when you look at the bright young rock-chicks of today like Daisy Lowe/Pixie Lott/Peaches Geldoff/Lady Gaga/Florence Welsh.
Bright lips in blood red and hot pink will add a youthful vitality on Wednesday night. My make-up for FFF will make a bold statement that says ‘I’m with the band, now step aside!!’

Key make-up tips: Oonagh Boman Green Colour will ensure a calm base which will neutralise any red in the skin tones, a must for Fashion Shows as the models can get hot and red under the hot lights on stage. Applied directly onto the skin below the foundation.
GOSH black eyeliner – lots and lots of this product will be used over both nights to ensure the eye make-up looks solid. Its creamy texture is quick and easy to use and will ‘melt’ to give a rock n’roll edge that looks slept in!
